Do you need the umbrella stand with this or will it be fine without?

 Grabbed this one,,,looks like a great deal,,,,I didn't buy the umbrella, I will put a lazy susan in the middle to cover the hole until I can find a cheaper umbrella..for now I will put the set under the shade of a tree.... |
