New to this site .. so pardon the ignorance ahead of time.. lol

Im SO excited only a couple mos left till Black Friday 07 .. however, im already a little anxious about what time ppl will start getting to Best Buy lol

last year was my first year really planning to go out for BF, the year before.. my friends and i decided last min to go to Circuit City around 2am, and that was a flop, ppl were already wrappin around the building. So, since our fam was out of town, last year my bro and I got to Best Buy around 11am Thanksgiving day!! I almost fell out of the car when I saw that 2 ppl were sittin in a car waiting already!! lol none the less.. we parked, set up shop and camped out.. ended up being 2nd and 3rd in line .. got all the big ticket items that required vouchers.. and the ones we didnt use, we sold to ppl in the back of the line! lol.. do u guys think I should plan to be there even earlier this year?? or will 11am cut it again lol..

The Gift card has to be worth it for me to stand in line, but I am so directionally challenged that I will wait for the Garmin Nuvi probably without a gift card as long as the price is good. yes.gif

I think it was about $15 for every $100, so if you spent $150, you received around $22.50. I know my mom and aunt both ended up with almost $70 each!

My hubby and I camped last year too!! We were #6 & 7 in line so we got the things that we were after also. I do have to say that you are obviously not from Arkansas because there were people getting arrested for scalping the vouchers. It was definately a wild night! Not sure if we are planning to camp this year.....can't seem to find anything that I can't live without. Good luck to all who will be camping!

i just saw a commercial for Bestbuy a little while ago and for one of friday mornings doorbusters, they advertised a Toshiba laptop with printer for only $229.00!!!!. I didn't see it in their ad online, but I bet this was one of their suprise items! I guess people will start camping out wednesday evening for that. The commercial didn't say anything about the price being after a rebate or anything, just that the laptop and printer is $229.00. good luck to all who brave it out there for this laptop. let us know if you get one and how you like it.

Hmm, I thought that all the ads first released were final... Xbox 360 Premium for 299.99... maybe it's time.

Oh by the way Sarah, where did you get thsi info from. I'm not trying to contradict you or anything, just that I really want an Xbox and controllers for it and I'm not willing to pay 50 bucks for retail price on wireless controller... you've given me hope! biggrin.gif

To Tamz:
Dang where do you live!??! Last year I went to Best Buy at 8AM Thanks Giving morning and I wasn't even near first... probably the 20th person (8th group)... stupid So-Cal !!
