I have never really checked it out too much and was wondering if they offer the same type of stuff and do they have shipping specials to compete
and if so, where do you find the good bargains? This post has been edited by toni2022: Sep 15 2007, 11:31 PM |

There usually are some pretty awesome deals out there, the best thing to do is keep checking out Dealtaker regularly around that time of the year. We have many people posting ads for online as well as instore specials. A lot of stores will offer great discounts as well as free shipping, or even free items with purchase. Many stores range from Toys R Us to Best Buy, Walmart, Kmart, Overstock.com, nascar.com, to name a few. |

I know some places like Kohls will actually let you order some items on Thanksgiving night around 9pm or 10pm (west coast time) because they go off of east coast time. I believe all the shipping was free for me last year when I ordered.
It was nice because I got the black friday prices without the hassle of having to wait in line, without the hassle of searching for my desired items within the store and with shipment taking 2 weeks...I did not have to hide the Christmas gifts right away. |

I personally think the best part of Black Friday, is just the rush of being in the store... my BF thinks I'm Crazy... I have heard of the same thing, where certain stores will let you purchase things online the night before, so you don't have to be in the crowds, but MOST of the people I know who do actually go out for Black Friday, are already in line come 10 the night before... at least if they want to get a particular thing!!!!

Oh I love going out in the rush too and have been a faithful Black Friday shopper for 10 years now The reason I check in on the online purchases is because I like being able to hit all my favorite stores without missing out on some sales items I want due to them all opening at the same time |

I also I just sit & watch while they run around in a panic. I have gotten several good deals at Sears on Thanksgiving and BF morning. also got DH a great tool storage set for $100 off & FREE SHIPPING!It was an unadvertised deal. You have to just check it out. There are always surprises online. |

This year I'm going to check out some of the online deals before I go out at midnight. If there are some of the big ticket items with free shipping, then I will order them online and not have to waste my time on that item fighting the crowds and move on to some of the other items. I do love the crowds too, though. I get such a rush when they open those doors and the games begin....lol.

Hey guys, whats going on. Im also a HUGE Black Friday shopper, but i do have one question. DO they offer the same deals online that they do in the stores, or is that just for the crazy guys like me that camp out at best buy at 8pm the night of thanksgiving (or has a buddy there since 8 then hops in around 11, tee hee)? I want to pick up a number of things and want to make sure i can, so maybe online is my way to go. Lemme kno

Lemme kno Some of the stores have some of the same deals available online, but usually not the doorbuster laptops and stuff like that. It really depends what you are looking for. Last year, Staples had a lot of the same deals on smaller items (DVD-RW's, flash drives, SD cards), and stuff like that. Sears had a lot of the same sales on housewares, bedding, sheets, clothes online as well as in store. Every store is different, but as a general rule, the items in really limited quantity at deep discounts (like the TVs and computers) are what you would have to go stand in line for. |

More and More deals are being offered online each year. I anticipate Cyber Monday should be pretty big this year too. But, if you want the doorbuster items it is best to go to store
Like heliotropes3 said it depends what you want. |
