The advent of affordable, high definition DVD playback and quality audio reproduction is at your fingertips with the Panasonic SC-PT464 5.1-Channel Home Theater System. Essentially, this system is a full-function audio/video control center with 1000W of power; it combines a powerful 5.1-channel A/V receiver with an integrated progressive scan DVD player capable of 720p, 1080i and 1080p video up conversion for HDTV display compatibility. Its advanced 24-bit audio processing and multi-channel digital audio decoding are capable of creating a wider, more enveloping surround sound experience. It features Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS audio decoding.

VIERA Link
The VIERA Link function displays a menu on the TV screen, making it easier to operate your connected home theater system. For instance, you can display a menu with a list of the movies or music stored on your iPod, and utilizes the VIERA remote control unit to select one program and begin playback.

Multi-Format Playback Capability

Progressive Scan Playback

24-bit Audio Processing

5.1-Channel Speaker System
The center channel speaker (dual drivers), (2) front satellite speakers and (2) rear surround satellite speakers provide the soundstage, plus a side-firing 250W subwoofer provides the punch for the low frequencies. Rear Wireless Option
The optional SH-FX70 rear wireless receiver module option offers you the ability to connect the rear surround sound speakers to your home theater system without making unnecessary holes in your walls or floors. Magnetically Shielded/ Built-In FM Tuner
The satellite speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent picture interference when placed near your TV or display. Enjoy your favorite FM radio broadcasts with surround sound processing, with the built-in FM wide-band tuner.
