This Friday, starting at 8am on November 2nd, 2007, Walmart will have 5 items on sale for “Black Friday Prices” at Walmart retail stores. Those items will be:

1 Fisher Price Nascar Ride-On - $144.72

2 Sanyo 50" Plasma HDTV - $998.00

3 Acer Laptop w/ Celeron Processor & 1GB RAM - $348.00

everytime i try to view these, it tells me walmart's server is down. any idea if it is in store only or online too?

I went this morning at around 10:00 there were tons of the stuff left. I didn't get anything because there was nohting I wanted, but I saw bunches of stuff there.

Edit

Well my Husband decided he did want the HD DVD after all. So I went back and got it. Ours still had a bunch left. I talked to one guy who got one too, he said he didn't know about it till that morning. I think people just don't know to look for the deals this early. Which is why I am so glad I am a member here!

I showed up at one of the stores closest to my house at 7 this morning and they ended up only having 4 of the HD DVD players and I happened to be number 5 in line for them...

I did end up buying a couple of HD DVDs and the laptop though. I am watching the sale ads roll in over the next couple of weeks to see if it turns out to be an excellent deal or not...

I did end up with a couple of HD DVD players after I sent someone to a Wal-Mart in the middle of nowhere. These will be excellent Christmas presents...especially with the 5 Free HD DVDs and the HDMI cable in the box.

in case any1 is still looking to get an Toshiba HD-A2 DVD Player for 99 bucks, if walmart sells out call ur local best buy, according to a news source best buy is matching this price(assuming they have any in stock)
