Paying the utility bills (by Neal Rapoport, DealTaker.com)
September 26th, 2007
So, recently I noticed that my electric meter on the side of the house wasn’t spinning after I got a $0 electric bill. I thought, “WOW, FREE ELECTRICITY”, then realized I better call the electric company about it. Well, after about a month, they finally came out to change the meter.
We use this 3rd party electric provider, and I wonder if I hadn’t called if they’d ever even notice? I’m not much of a risk taker, nor would I want to do something wrong, but I bet there are people out there who don’t call and get free electricity?
Well, enough of that rambling… So we’re starting to see some Black Friday shoppers stopping by DealTaker, and we’re excited about the updated forum. We’re also working on a new black friday news site, http://www.black-friday-2007.com/. It’s not too data-rich yet, but stay tuned for the news as it comes in.
Take care everyone!.. Talk again soon,
Neal Rapoport
