Getting to Know You.

I began working at DealTaker a few months ago and wanted to get to know my coworkers and our users better so I came up with some fun questions that would give me insight on what makes you guys tick. Here are a few that I have commented on.
If you had a slogan that best represents you personality, what would it be?
Just Do It (Nike). The more you sit around and think about something the more excuses you make to not get it done.
What is your hidden talent?
I’m great at construction projects.
What’s the worst thing you did as a kid?
Put my kitten in the pool to teach her to swim and then forgot about her. She was ok, my mom pulled her out.
What is your favorite childhood injury?
Cut my leg open on a barbed wire fence running from a chicken (I was 12).

Do you have any phobias or superstitions?
I am afraid of caterpillars (I once jumped from a moving vehicle to get away from one)
What bad habits of other people drive you crazy?
People who procrastinate and then freak out because they are stressed.
If you had one week to live what 3 things would you do with the time you had left?
(1) Go snowboarding in Whistler. (2) Host a big party with all my friends and family and eat all the great food that I usually don’t allow myself to enjoy. (3) Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef with sharks.

Answers to the above questions:
1. Don’t take life too seriously, you’ll never get out alive.
2. I use to raise roses.
3. Ran away and hid in the woods all day and that night.
4. Ran in to the back of a VW Bug on my 80cc dirt bike and went through the back window.
5. Bees.
6. Rudeness. Especially in stores such as Wal Mart.
7. Spend every waking moment with my kids, take the family to Europe and spend my last morning watching the sun rise in the middle of no where.
