DealTaker Deals forum rules.

1. Please post links/coupon codes, etc.
2. Post content is copyright to the original poster and as such, You may not copy any of the content from this website for inclusion on any other website. To do otherwise would be actionable in damages. As well, such unauthorized use would amount to a trespass on chattels. See the case of eBay Inc. vs. Bidder's Edge, Inc.
3. There is a current problem with linking directly to products at some sites, so please inform which items to search for to get the deal you are posting, if the link does not work.
4. If there is a repost, we will attempt to not lock threads, instead we will simply combine them.
5. Due to the increasing number of competing sites disruptive behavior, we no longer allow you to post the competitive sites names or links here. Feel free to thank the Original Poster by name, but leave out the site.
6. No self promotion, where poster stands to gain a benefit by posting ($, points, etc) including No referral ID's (such as free***.com sites unless official conga-style ones started by dealtaker MODS or ADMINS).
7. Keep it clean, No Pornographic items or sites.
8. Do not discuss or promote any illegal activities.
9. Part-taking on any deals is at your own risk. Please be cautious, and if a deal seems too good to be true, it may be. All transactions are between you and the merchant.
10. Threads are posted by users and as such quality and consistancy is not guaranteed. While we attempt to avoid links to sites which may install malicious software, etc, we cannot 100% control all content.
11. If you have any questions regarding any post, please use the button and explain the issue.
12. On occasion, DealTaker moderators may edit your post and/or title of post to make it easier for the members. Usually there is no notification of such action.

We try to maintain a fun, friendly atmosphere here at DealTaker. While some of these rules may make it difficult to fully express your mind at times, they are in place to make this site as comfortable for everyone as possible.
