With all the stress in the world, I feel like we all need a little reminder to choose joy. Believe it or not there is a difference between JOY and HAPPINESS. We are happy when other factors beside ourselves make us happy. For instance, someone gave you a compliment when they walked by you and it made you happy.
However, to obtain true joy will take more work on our part. We choose from within ourselves to be joyful. We have true joy when we are having a good day AND when we are having a bad day. Outside factors and circumstances do not affect us from having joy. A tip on how to have JOY is when you are feeling down, start counting your blessings. Every bad situation has a positive hidden in there whether you know it now or you find out later.
