Back to the house. We still don’t have the water turned on to the house due to leaks in the faucets. This hopefully will be fixed in the next couple days. It’s amazing how much you can’t do with out running water. We also found out a big issue that the inspector missed. Termites in the outside wall of the master bedroom. There was quite a bit of damage done by them, but not as bad as we thought it would be. After replacing the rotted studs, I called up the pest control people and had them do a thorough check. The termites only had been in that one wall, which is good. I was given two option: Spot treatment, which would only treat that one wall or the whole house. Even thou the whole house treatment was about a little over 2x more expensive, I decided to go that route so I wont have to worry about replacing any more wood in the future. This weekend I hope to get all the insulation back in and drywall up and maybe get it textured.
